Son of Alexander and Elizabeth Allan, of Greenoc

Lancaster III ME755 Took off 2138 14 July 1944 from Binbrook to attack the rail facilities. Homebound shot down by a night-fighter and crashed at Chevillon (Haute-Marne) a large village some 16 km SE of St-dizier.
